Monster Energy Supercross The Official Videogame 2 review - ChristCenteredGamer

27.05.2019 9:24

Monster Energy Supercross 2 will appeal to fans and enthusiasts of the sport. It did a good job keeping someone like me entertained for a guy who didnt care for the genre one bit when first starting out. Will I now consume Supercross like a sweet tooth will consume chocolate? Most likely not. It has enough to appeal to casuals and veterans alike with its simple-to-learn controls and engaging advanced mechanics, although there isnt much in the form of competition in this niche video game genre. It could use a bit more polish and refining in, well... almost everything, but you know what they say: third times a charm. If they keep going at the same pace they are right now, Monster Energy Supercross 3 could be the definitive motocross experience.

It looks like new Darksiders and Destroy All Humans games are set for E3

26.05.2019 15:24

New Darksiders and Destroy All Humans games look set for E3. Internet sleuths aligned an image showing THQ Nordic's E3 lineup with comments made by the company's boss to deduce the titles the company is set to announce. During THQ Nordiq's ill-fated 8Chan AMA, an image was uploaded by an employee of the company showing a list of games to be shown at E3 in June. On the list was Destroy All Humans and Darksiders: Genesis. Twitter user Afro_Gear took a screenshot of this image back in February. In discussing its E3 plans with GamingBolt, THQ Nordic teased it had two unannounced games to reveal at the show. It described one as a remake and the "long-awaited return of a galactically beloved game/franchise", and the other as a "new vision of a beloved game/franchise". Destroy All Humans and Darksiders certainly fit those descriptions, respectively. Destroy All Humans has been dormant since 2008's Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon. This new remaster may be designed to pr...

Intel boldly claims its 'Ice Lake' integrated graphics are as good as AMD's

26.05.2019 11:12

While Intel is expected to detail its upcoming 10nm processor, Ice Lake, during its Tuesday keynote here at Computex, the company is already making one bold claim—that Ice Lake’s integrated Gen11 graphics engine is on par or better than AMD’s current Ryzen 7 graphics.
It’s a bold claim, and one that Ryan Shrout, a former journalist and now the chief performance strategist for Intel, said that Intel doesn’t make lightly. “I don’t think we can overstate how important this is for us, to make this claim and this statement about the one area that people railed on us for in the mobile space,” Shrout said shortly before Computex began.
Though Intel actually supplies the largest number of integrated graphics chipsets in the PC space, it does so on the strength of its CPU performance (and also thanks to strong relationships with laptop makers). Historically, AMD has leveraged its Radeon "Vega" GPUs to attract buyers seeking a more powerful integrated graphics solution. But what Intel is trying to do now, with its , is let its GPUs stand on their own merits.
